At Plymouth Harbor, we understand that taking good care of yourself goes beyond eating your leafy greens and getting adequate sleep. Our view on whole person wellness emphasizes a multi-dimensional approach maintaining broad interests and a healthy lifestyle for an active mind and body.

The amenities and programs offered at Plymouth Harbor have been designed with this multi-dimensional philosophy in mind, helping you be well not just physically, but also mentally and spiritually.

Residents are encouraged to continue hobbies and interests and are provided space to do so. Special studios and areas are set aside for various pursuits such as woodworking, art, horticulture, and dance. Our wellness center offers a variety of fitness classes such as water aerobics, yoga, tai chi and more. And when you’re looking for something even more laid back, you’ll find spa services for men and women in various locations around campus, each staffed with their own professionals and list of offerings.

Wellness Measurements

A blood pressure machine, pulse oximeter and scale are all available for residents to use.

Chair Massage

Enjoy a complimentary chair massage from our Licensed Massage Therapist. Check with the Wellness and Programming team for the most up-to-date schedule.

Check the Wellzesta Life for updates on various resident-run community groups on campus, including kayak and biking groups.

Fitness Assessments

This 1:1 personal assessment evaluates your current fitness level through a series of exercises consisting of strength, flexibility, cardio, and balance. After the assessment is completed, a customized workout regimen will be designed to fit your specific goals.

Games

In the Wellness Center, a variety of yard games and table tennis are available to play.

Group Fitness Classes

Choose from a variety of classes that stretch your mind and body. Aqua-based and land-based classes are available at a variety of levels.

Personal Training

Wellness team members are all certified personal trainers and can provide complimentary fitness assessments. These team members can partner with your primary care physician, care management or physical therapist for continued support. Train in the fitness center or at home with this fee-for-service program designed to help you build, improve, and maintain wellness.

Physical Therapy

Our partners at Functional Pathways, a private, therapist-owned organization with more than 28 years of experience in serving senior living communities, provide a smooth transition from therapy to independent workouts. Our personal trainers can provide you with more information on this partnership.
